Each size was individually designed for its intended use. Special features ensure optimum user-friendliness. With a volume of 35 liters, the HIKE35 is aimed at climbers, alpinists and ski mountaineers who are on the move with minimal equipment in difficult terrain. The HIKE55 is designed for hike-and-fly enthusiasts whose ultralight gear takes up only 55 liters. The HIKE75, on the other hand, is perfectly designed for ambitious XC and bivouac pilots with 75 liters.
What all three HIKE’s have in common is their extraordinarily high level of comfort. This is ensured by a compact design that fits closely to the body. With the Load Control, you can adjust the center of gravity individually to your needs. The Salewa DRY BACK® System with EVA padding and 3D channel ventilation reduces the contact area with the body, so your back stays dry. The split shoulder straps increase mobility, especially in technical terrain.
Elastic rubber loops allow hiking poles to be attached to the outside of the rucksack, increasing your safety. Additional equipment can be attached to the daisy chain for longer Hike&Fly adventures. Common features of all three HIKE variants include a helmet net, a pocket for valuables, a compression strap that secures your glider in the rucksack, a removable mobile device mount on the shoulder strap, and two elastic net pockets that provide ample space for water bottles, provisions and spare clothing. Designed for speed alpinists, the HIKE35 also shines with a ski mount and two “gear loops” on the hip belt for climbing gear like quickdraw and carabiners.
